The mission of Marin Food Bank is to provide quality food, the most basic of all human necessities, to people in Marin County who need nutritional assistance.
The Food Bank values the privacy of our donors. We do not sell, exchange or distribute donor information with any other agencies, organizations or individuals.
What We Do
- Provide emergency food orders for families experiencing short term crisis
- Provide bags of food for low-income seniors
- Provide boxes of food for families in long-term crisis
- Provide holiday food boxes for needy families during Easter, Thanksgiving, Chanukah and Christmas
- Provide USDA commodity distribution for low income families
- Provide food for community non-profit agencies who serve on-site meals
and/or refreshments for their clients - Collect and distribute food for the County of Marin during times of natural disasters as outlined in the Marin County Inter-Agency Disaster Plan
